On October 23rd, the 2nd China Long Term Energy Storage Conference was grandly held at the Dongwu Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel in Huzhou, Zhejiang. This conference is hosted by ESPLAZA Long Term Energy Storage Network, and over 800 representatives from more than 400 units gathered together to discuss and exchange ideas comprehensively, deeply, and from multiple perspectives around the theme of "Accelerating Commercialization and Building a Prosperous New Ecology". The attending representatives jointly discussed in depth the industrialization development path of various long-term energy storage technologies, contributing a feast of ideas to the industry's development.

Former Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration/Wu Yin

This conference was delivered by Wu Yin, former deputy director of the National Energy Administration, who stated that the installed capacity of ongoing and planned projects for long-term energy storage has significantly increased. In the coming years, the proportion of long-term energy storage in the installed capacity of new energy storage will rapidly increase, and the market will become increasingly hot.
At the 2nd China Long Term Energy Storage Conference, Yang Dawei, Chairman  of Thinkre Group, presented a report titled "Latest Progress in Industrialization of New High Density and High Durability Perfluoroproton Exchange Membrane for Flow Batteries".
Chairman Yang Dawei also pointed out in the report that the rapid growth of flow battery landing projects this year has led to a tight supply of proton membranes used in flow batteries. Many of Thinkre's old customer orders have had to be postponed as a result, and Thinkre deeply apologizes for this. However, with the rapid increase in production capacity of Fujian Thinkre perfluorosulfonic acid resin, the production capacity of Thinkre proton exchange membrane is expected to reach 60,000 square meters per month in December, and will grow to 100,000 square meters per month by the first quarter of 2025. Capable of meeting 100% of the current market demand. Please rest assured and boldly promote the implementation of production capacity and projects.
